With Fun World Family Amusements, a Multiplex Cinema and Pizza Parlor, free concerts on the square on weekends, a bevy of great eateries offering everything from Sushi to Mexican, Bar-B-Que to Bistro and a couple of near-by night spots with Tiki Bar and live outdoor entertainment, you’ll have a hard time settling on how to fit in all the activities the area has to offer. But don’t worry, because you know you’ll be back again as soon as you can and it will get easier each time to plan when you know all the possibilities. So plan ahead if you want to book for the peak summer or fall months or holidays, because not every lakefront condo is right on the “WATER’S EDGE”. Remember the name and bookmark the site.

Located just minutes from either the GA Mountain Fairgrounds and Young Harris College, The Ridges & Brasstown Valley Resort, you’ll find restaurants, movies, shopping and more all within easy access and right off the main road. If you didn’t bring your own boat, you may choose from 3 or 4 nearby marinas to rent one with little or no trouble at all putting in at one of the nearby boat ramps. Families with little children will enjoy the public recreation area just across the road from the fairgrounds, with a well maintained stretch of white sandy beach and swimming area with life guard and a fully equipped playground, tennis courts, picnic area and boat ramp. Pack a lunch and boat on over for a family adventure . . . more fun than driving.

The laundry room with stackable washer & dryer and separate powder room for guests are located down the hall, between the Master Suite and the other 2 Bedrooms, one with 2nd King, the other with a Queen & each with its own TV, and shared bath. Located on the ground level, there are a few steps leading down from the parking lot but once there you’ll find a spacious open floor plan all on one level.

Down the hall, to the left is the Master Suite with a massive King sized bed and its own flat screen TV, a luxurious on-suite full bath with jetted Jacuzzi garden tub and separate shower, double sinks and large walk-in closet. Best of all, is the view from this suite, overlooking the lake from 3 tall windows.

Perhaps not everyone in your party is here just for the lake, so they will have been drawn immediately to the wonderfully appointed interior. With overstuffed micro-suede couches, shiny glass top tables, well stocked bookshelves and game table and a 38” flat screen HD/TV & DVD player neatly tucked away behind cabinet doors, just above the stacked stone fireplace, the living room is the perfect gathering place for family and friends of all ages. The dining area seats up to 8 including the breakfast bar and stools. The kitchen dazzles with rich granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, ceramic cook top, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster and every amenity one could hope for. Of course there’s WiFi for those who wish to check their email or perhaps stay over another day by working from their laptop. We supply all the towels and linens so you don’t need to pack a thing but your weekend clothes, sun block and a toothbrush & maybe some steaks to grill out at the picnic pavillion.

From the moment you enter, you’ll know you’ve found your home away from home. You’ll be tempted to stop and admire the tasteful furnishings and interior design and a glance toward the gourmet kitchen will beckon, but your inner child will not be deterred. You’ll breeze right past the open and inviting living room/ dining area and head straight for the double French doors with sunlight streaming through, lighting the whole room. Stepping out onto the open terrace you’ll be dazzled by the scene that lays sprawled out before you. Lush green lawns, huge oaks and pines for shade, mountain ridges framing the view and the sparkling waters of pristine Lake Chatuge lapping on the shore right outside your door. Just down the path you spot it, the huge lighted & covered dock with your own private boat slip, temporary home to your water chariot, waiting to take you out on the lake for the time of your life. It doesn’t get any more convenient than this. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s a wake boarding & jet-ski rental site within walking distance of your dock! (That is if you walk on water)
